"Excellent staff, absolutely top-notch customer service. We were given room 11 at check-in. It smelled very musty and had black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We requested a new room and the staff gave us a much better room and were so attentive to our needs. The hotel is in a great location in Chepstow. The property is tired and worn but it is tidy and a good bargain for a few nights in the area. "

"The place is very convenient to the Bristol Bus Station -- helpful to me because I arrived from, and returned to, Heathrow Airport. The food was good and the room verbally fine. But I was very disappointed in the lack of facilities for charging phones and tablets. There were no USB chargers and no 110v outlets, which are common in hotels throughout Europe."
