"Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again"

"Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here."

"Smallish room as expected but we'll appointed, clean and in great location. Took us roughly 15 mins wall through a park, over bridge and alongside river into town. We were lucky to have the limited on site parking space. Room was quiet, bed low but comfy. Nice stay. Have only given 3 stars for staff as we actually did not need to meet any. So, not applicable."

"Clean and great location, good value for money."

"The room we had was super charming and had everything we could possibly need. I got the best night’s sleep of my entire trip while we were there. I would most definitely stay there again if I were in the area again."

"A bit noisy but great location otherwise"

The smell of the room is unbearable, as if an animal has died and rotted in it. Upon arrival, I found the sink cracked and leaking on the bathroom floor flooding it. The so called emergency number was only operated till 5 pm only. I sent a message on their WhatsApp group as advised but the answer came the following day. I was so much disguated...

"What a delightful quiet stone cottage to spend a few days at. Lovely location with great views down to the Chirk viaduct. Tastefully decorating "

"It was perfect in every way. Spotless, cosy, lovely quiet location, hot tub was a real treat. The owner was so helpful when our food delivery was delivered elsewhere. "
