"this was a terrible experience. arrived to a boarded up hotel, with a small note attached to door saying they have reserved rooms round the corner at Carlton hotel. No warning at all well this was a awful hotel so tatty and dirty. no ammenties. lots of staff but no help what so ever
came home early NEVER AGAIN. so be warned save your money G Field"
"The room was a very good size the bathroom was a medium sized needs updated the staff was excellent there was only two of them the hotel is kept very clean close to the beach everything was in walking distance no cooking of breakfast"

Firstly took over an hour to access as there’s no staff on site despite claims there is staff.
Smashed tv with broken glass,kettle didn’t work and kept switching off,no smoke alarm,huge crack in the outside pane of the window,hole in the bathroom door, the room was beyond freezing,shower didn’t work,uncomfortable bed full of springs,pillows paper thin,and no proper duvet just a paper thin shiny sheet.

It has been closed down since 2023 and the company are still taking peoples money.
I had to threaten them with the Police to receive a refund. They are part of the OYO group which is situated in India. They have at least 4 hotels in Great Yarmouth that are all closed down and are still taking bookings "
