"Everything about this property was terrible. Not a safe neighborhood, very dirty, no updates. Worst was their shower, only hot burning water. I couldn’t take a shower."
"I stayed in the single room. A tidy and comfy room. The windows had been left open so it was cold when I arrived but it did quickly warm up. No blinds in the velux windows which would have been annoying if I’d have stayed until daylight. I didn’t see or use any of the communal areas so can’t comment. Enough driveway space for 3 cars. Literally 2 minutes from my airport parking. Would stop again if flying from Luton."
"Cheep and ok, there was no staff when we arrived just keys left out for us, feel like anyone could of just taken the key but they didn’t, and in the morning there was a staff talking very loudly outside our room at 8:30 in the morning so no lie ins, the room was clean but not well looked after"
"The reception is unmanned but I got an answer from the contact number straight away. All simple enough.. the hotel was clean and convenient, a little tired but fine.. could have done with a spoon on the drinks tray in the room."
"Staff were very helpful, couldn't do enough for you.
Food was amazing
Rooms very clean, a bit on the small side but worked ok for me
Would definitely recommend and definitely return"
"A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay."
"Staff very helpful, a clean presentable room, nice affordable price with good parking access....a nice village pub atmosphere to finish the trip out at"
"I was expecting to share a bathroom, but it was in convenient that it was down three flights of stairs. I repaired to my room early as I was not feeling well to discover that the remote for the television was not working, and there were no spare blankets on the room on a chill autumn evening."
"This place is a gem! There is a bus that is a block away and takes 20 minutes to Stansted Airport. The room we had was wonderful: beautiful bed linens, Turkish bath robe, lovely decor, and a beautiful, healthy, breakfast in the fridge that included a very fresh and attractive fruit platter. The little touches like the coffee machine, toaster, and excellent bread, butter, jams, fresh milk, pretty china cups and plates, made us feel we were in a real home. Martha Stewart could not have done...
"Booked the comfort triple room with private bathroom, on arrival we were shown to a twin room and a single room, without private bathroom. When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. He went away and returned stating he could not do anything as the manager wasn’t available, therefore, we had no option but to stay in rooms we had not booked. Shared kitchen was dismal, one...
"Most of Westminster College is used for students. The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The breakfast included in the cost of the room is a full English breakfast, and was excellent. Be aware that the rooms are not cleaned daily - you can expect rooms to be cleaned every 3 days, however you can get extra supplies from Reception. I highly recommend the property."
"Family room booked for three adults. Arrived to find two single beds. Booking confirmation states someone would be there to greet us. No-one was around. Fortunately we got through to somebody by phone and were able to get into the room but they were not able to provide us anywhere to stay for the three adults we had booked and paid for.
The floor, bedding and toilet were clean. However, the windows were covered in cobwebs, the chairs were stained, there were not enough cups for all three of us,...
