Learn more about Tawharanui

The pristine beaches of Tawharanui Regional Park offer perfect spots for surfing, swimming, and spotting rare New Zealand birds. Hike the coastal trails to reach hidden coves where you'll find some of Auckland Region's best snorkeling opportunities.

Visiting my brother in Matakana in the New Zealand's North Island I spent a whole day in Tawharanui Regional Park a whole 7 hours exploring beauty. This park and marine reserve is huge with Two beaches and a lagoon 💚. You can camp here or hire a regional Bach if your lucky. It is also a park with native Kiwis , my goal is to camp here on another trip one summer 🙏🏻
