"Enough bedding for the depths of winter and a comfortable bed big enough for us two. An unspoilt Victorian house. Very good breakfast. Plenty of parking, very handy for Pickering & NYMR. We would re visit."

"Parked car in long stay car park which is immediately behind the cafe / bar and soon found Chapter Two on the market square. Received warm welcome from the person in charge who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was spacious and well decorated. "Spotlessly clean and so cosy Brilliant stay Lovely pub within walking distance "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the North York Moors National Park. The room was very clean, the linen of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities worked. The rooms are above the pub so there was some chatter and music. This wasn’t a problem for me. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Couldn’t fault a thing .. absolutely amazing place to stay 😊"
