"We had a very short 1 night stay at Foothills, but the lady who checked us in was very welcoming. My teenage girls loved her little dog, Parker. "

"Evening front desk staff said to me that breakfast is from 6a-9:30 but when I went to get the complimentary continental hot breakfast the following day and I arrived there before 9:30am, it is closed already due to breakfast hours is only from 6a-9a. So that evening staff gave me a wrong info. Good thing the manager in the morning gave me free food & drink from their mini lobby store shop to make it up."

"I enjoyed my stay here. It was the last day before we flew back home after a great trip to South Dakota. It was attached to a water park, Watiki which my children enjoyed (ages 7,13). The place was next to lot of places to eat including fast food for those who travel with children. You do have to pay extra for the water park but was worth the easy Acess from your hotel room. "

"The A/C was loud and emitted rattling noises. Staff could have been more friendly. They acted like I was bothering them. I liked that maid service was upon request. And if you just wanted towels or extra soap or whatever amenities, you filled out a form and hung it on your door and when you returned the amenities were outside your door in a plastic bag. So, no one ever entered your room."

"This is a wonderful hotel for your next stay in Rapid City. The rooms have been recently updated and include a microwave, mini-fridge, and I always like having a sink and mirror outside the bathroom. It is also dog friendly and the hotel provided a room right next to an exit, which was wonderful. A little dog grass area and trash receptacle for dog cleanup is also very nice. Very friendly staff, always nice to have a warm welcome! "

"Stayed here for an almost a week with my daughter as we explored the Black Hills. The hotel is older but has definitely had some remodeling and upgrades. The free breakfast had ample choices, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. For the price, it was an excellent deal. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was clean but all the furniture in the room was very worn, especially the desk chair. Breakfast runs from 6:00 am to 10:00am. We went for breakfast at 6:39 and all the muffins and boiled eggs were gone. When I asked if there was an attendant that could refill the items, I was told the attendant had to go to the store for supplies and wasn’t available. This was a Monday morning."
