"We stayed for two nights in one of the recently refurbished rooms. Very clean and had everything you would need. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had breakfast both mornings and couldn’t fault it. There is parking, but it is limited. Our friends stayed in the older part of the hotel and said whilst there rooms was dated, it was very comfortable and clean.We would definitely stay here again."

"I don’t usually review but really liked this place. Lovely country pub with excellent clean, newly fitted rooms that are quirky due to being an old pub. Don’t expect large spacious rooms. Old pubs in Uk are small. Great staff. Good food and the walking trails are behind the pub. Lots to see and do in the area if you’re not into walking. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the staff especially the bar lady. Very friendly. "

"Pretty and quiet cottage conveniently placed off Amesbury high street. Large ensuite double room with king-size bed, tv and a delightful breakfast bag full of goodies which was more than adequate including 2 bottles of water and cartons of fruit juice."

"Warm welcome from Dilip, took me to where the room was early, as I was on business and did not know what time I would be back that night, showed me everything. Very nice guy. Very good ,freshly cooked breakfast. Superb freshly cooked Chicken Korahi curry with home made naan etc. Totally delicious. Room was fresh, hughe king size bed, TV. Shower and bath. "The accomodation was very nice and very comfortable. I was only staying for one night. The owner could not of been more thoughtful. She recommended some nice pubs for an evening meal which were fine. My only problem was that there was no television and the WiFi was intermittent so I was at a bit of a loss how to keep occupied. "
