"I loved the character of the hotel! There is so much history and it is nice to know that the current owners are trying their best to maintain the hotel's quirkiness. The owner is a workhorse and is happy to share information about the hotel's history and places to visit in the area. "Operator-franchise owners are restoring an older hotel. In my room the hair dryer was partly installed and the older TV remote did not yet allow beyond one weather channel. But the room was impeccably clean,comfortable and provided at a reasonable rate. I discovered after proceeding on my trip that I had left my plastic dental retainers and knew exactly where tI had left them. Housecleaning staff were caring enough to set them aside and did not just throw them in the trash. I returned 5 hrs...

"We checked in after a wedding at 11:00 PM. The front desk gentleman was great! Rooms where clean. The breakfast area is large. They had great coffee, juices, water. Waffles, egg omelets, bacon and potatoes. Cereal/ oatmeal, donuts. You could find something you would like. The outside seating area is nice which over looks the golf course."
