"Lovely place to stay right by the sea. We visited the White cliffs whilst in area and then departed for France via the Euro tunnel. The staff here were helpful and friendly and most welcoming. Would certainly return again in the future. "

"The hotel must have recently refurbished and it was very clean. But the little details were missing. No hand towel or bath mat. The wardrobe had not been put together properly the drawers didnt fit. The duvet didnt fit the bed! Think it might have been a superking which was very comfortable but the duvet didn't reach the edges when we were in it, may be a king size. Missed having fresh coffee at breakfast, was instant"

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"Generally great property but oddly there were only 2 of each bit of cutlery and crockery ( for 2 people for 2 days self catering) and only 1 cereal bowl so there was a need to take turns to eat breakfast. "Shabby Chic... The biggest factor when staying in the budget friendly Hotel is Cleanliness! The Littlestone Hotel did not disappoint. My Room, Bedding and Bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and I got the overall impression that they cared. "

We had to then try to find somewhere to accommodate 8 people in less than two days over an Easter break. I would advise against booking this.."

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Place was in a lovely location but the lack of parking could be an issue, also the Wi-Fi code in the info folder was unclear and we needed to look on back of the router to log on, the contact number in the folder was no longer available - because I had an e mail from the owners direct I had a number but it wasn’t helpful as they couldn’t help.
