"We arrived at the hotel on foot while walking the South West Coast Path and couldn’t have asked for a better stop along the way. After a long day on the trail, we received a really friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable and restful night and we both slept incredibly well listening to the sea nearby.

"A relaxing stay. Lovely team that felt like family. They couldn’t do enough for us. Kerry at reception was exceptional- very professional and knowledgeable. Jo was an absolute gem. The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. I highly recommend"

"Friendly & professional staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for example, requesting a bucket of soapy water / sponge to clean our car of seagull droppings every morning. Also, a guest in an above room to ours left his bath tap running & then laid on his bed to "rest" causing his room & ours, to flood! "An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it.
