"Excellent location inside the park. Avoid the morning lines getting into the park and were able to walk to Grand Canyon from our room. Staff is very friendly. We stayed in the newer buildings which were very nice/current. Great water pressure, newer decor. Food service at the hotel is mostly buffet style. We did have one meal at the pizza bar and was very good, friendly service. Gift shop in lobby has big selection (including fudge) and very helpful staff. Free parking. Everything is walkable,...

"Beautiful setting, right on the canyon. No parking, had to walk almost a mile from where we parked. Has coffee available at 630 am, but it would be gone immediately. Staff were ok, but not super friendly. Stayed in tusayan at Grand Canyon inn and suites for about 1/3 the price super accommodating staff and free coffee and breakfast. Would stay at el Tovar one night for experience but would do rest of the trip in tusayan. "

"Room was clean but really not fancy. No real air but we opened the windows and it was beautiful! We spent most of our time by the Grand Canyon. Food was surprisingly delicious and service in the restaurants very good. "

"It was closed to Grand Canyon and we had nice private space. Loved it more than the regular hotel. Only negative about the place is it had really weak shower. "

"Loved this stay! For as many people as they had it was quiet and we had shower and restroom opportunities with some food options in town; sadly ladies were a little strange about no campfires… so don’t expect a romantic campfire in the desert as the ‘wind’ will be too much even if it’s not windy… "
