"The size of the room for three people was a little too small. thankful we were there for only 1 night. Hotel very close to port so made it easy for transfer to ship"
"Well first the staff was helpful and professional. The location is just spectacular. You are literally across the road from the beach and it has off street dedicated parking. A lovely parade along the beach, great for a stroll. Good places to eat near by and a Coop virtually around the corner. I was able to set up my laptop in the common room and had the place virtually to myself. I'd stay here again."
"I was worried by the negative reviews of this hotel before arriving but circumstances dictated that we would stay here. In fact, the place was actually better than expected - not great but acceptable provided you only need the basics.
Yes, the property is tired and in need of a face-lift; the carpets are well-worn, the beds are old, the bar/entertainment area hasn't been used in a long time and the bathroom was very basic. Your room isn't serviced during your stay other than to empty the bin...
"I am still waiting for a response from this hotel. I have tried calling multiple times, but nobody answers the phone, and there does not appear to be anyone at the property.

"Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also."
"I didn't like anything about this place
Its the worst place ever.
There's no one to help you ,and the place is filthy and inhabitable for visitors.
I booked with Expedia expecting something better than what we got
Bathrooms are outside of bedroom and very disgusting..
Floors was very dirty like someone stepped on dog poop as you enter inside
We were very tired coming from USA and didn't have the energy to find another place..
We couldn't even take a shower there.
The bed was very unsanitary we...
"Heather is lovely. The room and bathroom was perfect... all I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and had a good night's sleep.
The ferry is a good 15 to 20 minute walk away, so Portsmouth is only another five minutes on the ferry."
