However, they charge you a deposit that is not listed on the website and the whatsapp message and repeated late night calls make it sound like a scam. I received a whatsapp message at 9.30pm the day before checking in telling me to click a link and either give £100 deposit that would be refunded within two weeks or pay £3 deposit that's not refundable. "Great pub/hotel with the rooms being in converted outbuildings. Service was great as was the food and drinks. Room was comfortable with no problems from pub garden noise.
