"My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable, rooms and property were clean. It was a pleasant and peaceful stay. Front desk clerk was amazing, felt like chatting with a friend. It is located near restaurants, gift shops and pastry shops. Definitely enjoyed our stay."

"This hotel was a last second booking for a mini trip my siblings and I planned. It was very easy to book, personally I did enjoy the hotel overall. It was really nice and presents itself well, my rating however is a good opposed to an excellent because of a few things. The staff seemed annoyed and dismissive when I first arrived, it left a bad taste in my mouth but I pretty much had little interaction with the staff after that so it’s fine. "Have stayed before and has always been a good experience. Only pit this time is noise that woke us up shortly after 7am. The hotel had maintenance being done in the room next to ours with no prior warning. Very loud drilling, the workers cell phones ringing, their foot steps; not fun after a late night and drinking the day before. We needed our sleep! Plus one of the best parts of vacation is getting to wake up when you want. Other than that it was a good experience. "

"Solvang is one of my top places to visit and I tend to go several times a year. This was my first stay at Svendsgaard's Danish Lodge Americas Best Value Inn -chosen for this trip due to location, availability, and cost. The hotel is perfectly located for walking around Solvang. The cost was reasonable and includes free parking, internet, pool. The facility is a bit outdated and could use a "refresh". The staff is very helpful and friendly. I will return in the future! "

"This place is packed with charm and character. It may be an older property, but it is very clean, well maintained and very quiet. Full of trees and landscape, it feels like home away from home. The restaurants and stores are not really walkable but all within a 5 min drive."
