"A really beautiful unique stay, wonderful converted barn rooms with wooden beams, and the grounds are just perfect.
Bridgette was an absolute delight, she was really lovely to sit and chat with and couldn't do enough for me, I would stay again just for how welcoming it was honestly."
"No wi-fi at all could not no use it wasn't working wich was really annoying. We try to sign in many time and didn't work.
The room was smaller than we saw on the website. Very hard to find the place. Sorry about that . Thank you"
"I arrived at the Horse and Jocky and I was surprised to hear that it was Karaoke night and it was well liked bye many, it was Friday night and it's let your hair down time, it was a change to have so many people who just turned up to sing and enjoy the evening, I was an outsider but I didn't feel it."
"I booked this particular travel lodge as it was close to Sundown Adventureland but whilst already at Sundown, a friend had a look on google maps to see if there was anywhere to eat, during that time they informed me it was a truck stop, which had I known, being a single female with my young daughter, I would not have chose to stay here.
Upon arrival, the exterior was extremely unkept, there was smashed glass in the car park from a car window which made me feel uncomfortable, the grass area we...
"I must be honest, I am very disappointed. For some strange reason although I checked reviews before hand, I was not able to see all the reviews which would have prevented me from booking.
20 min before leaving the owner messaged to say his cleaner did not come and asked whether we still wanted to go. He offered us £60 refund if we wanted to go and take our own bedding etc. We accepted as we were all packed. Arrived there, no hot water and the place wasn't really well kept. We contacted the...
"Property generally needs refurbishing, good cleaning and repairs. Its tired and very basic in contrast to adjoining pub.
You pay for what you get. Suited for an overnight stay for a wedding but no longer. No service as such....but clean towels, fridge and kettle. Take your own milk and plan breakfast locally..10 minute drive to Retford.

"Absolutley horrendous! Should be removed form the Hotels.com. Both Hotels.com and the owner have offered no explanation. Please see email i sent below to property owner, no response.
Hi,
my name is **** *******, we recently made a booking and stayed at your caravan at Tattershall Lakes. I wanted to send this email rather than writing a scathing review as appreciate some of the items may be out of your direct control.
After the little bit of confusion checking in we got to the caravan on the...
"We paid, as you can see. We turned up around an hour after booking to check in. We were completely ignored by passing staff regardless of the fact that there were four of us standing around with our bags to check in. We eventually got greeted by an abrupt member of staff. Who told us she needed to get someone else to check us in. This other member of staff came around 15 minutes later, so we bought a drink each whilst we were waiting. This other member of staff then told us they didnt realise...
