"Very basic rooms which were not the cleanest. Bed was very uncomfortable and the room temperature fluctuated a lot. Shared common areas were however well kept and clean."

"Amazing place"

"A pretty great stay at Brisbane Quarters. The hostel is centrally located, a brief uphill walk from Central Station. The bed was comfy, the facilities were clean, and the complimentary breakfast was a real win — toast, yoghurt and a selection of cereals, along with tea and coffee. I would happily return in the future."

"An attractive historical building in a great location with a very good price compared to other places in Brisbane. The room I had was well furnished with a television and a fridge. There was a balcony too although not much of a view. Although the front desk wasn't serviced 24 hours a day, they did have an intercom next to the front which you can call and they had keys in a safebox above the intercom. "What I like about Bunkback packers cos it good for solo travellers who travel for holiday or to attend any event in Brisbane it is cheap and helps u manage your budget especially the Share Bunk single beds are very cheap fits your pocket for solo travellers planing to spend weekends or holiday in Brisbane."

"Close to the beach (fabulous) and airport (great but noisy at times). Very friendly and helpful staff. It was convenient to have a mini bar, however, a few free treats would have been even better. Great stay, we will come back again."

"The apartment wasn’t properly cleaned, with dirty carpets, stains on the lounge, mould and old soap in the bathroom, and rubbish/stuff under the couch. Both bathroom doors didn’t lock, a window latch was broken, the dryer didn’t work, requested drying rack never got a response. No cups or mugs in the apartment. We requested a partial refund due to the issues, but this was declined. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"Really good value for money. Very clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend."

"Super mooi appartement! Prachtige uitzicht. En echt op een hele centrale locatie. Enige minpunt was dat de lakens vlekken hadden. Verder super mooi"

"Great place to stay on the Gold Coast. Walking distance to plenty of places to eat and shop as well as the beach. The room had everything we wanted including a very comfortable bed."

"Upon getting to the location, the host canceled our reservation, leaving us nowhere to stay and giving us no help that was a total nightmare I believe there should be some compensation besides refunding my money I will never ever tell anyone to book through Vrbo"

"It’s run down, but beds where very comfortable, noise due to closeness of road, but just across the road from dreamworld which was why we were there"
