No food available due to our check in time which was ok, great information leaflet in room means we got a takeaway delivered and chilled out in our room. Some noise from pub but not more then you'd expect. Definitely stay here again"

"This was only an overnight stay, but bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean, efficient shower. Had tea/coffee in the room. Had an evening meal, limited menu but it was well cooked and a reasonable price, same for the breakfast. Entrance road needs a bit of repair."

"The first thing that hit me when I walked into the dorm, was the smell of feet. The room was noisy at night, with fellow residents coming in and out and there was plenty of noise from the street bellow, so one would find resting difficult if a light sleeper. My bed was comfortable, but being on the lower bunk had its disadvantages and I woke whenever the occupant climbed up and down the ladder. Apart from that, I felt like I was in a warm and safe space. My fellow room bunkers were all friendly...

"It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook. Just saved them for the next place. Oh, we did go to the beach by the castle. That was nice. It was late, so the castle was closed, but...

"The hotel is on top of a lovely, vibrant, atmospheric pub (hence some music until late). Very friendly welcome, helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the pub. The room a little more basic than expected, our "standard" TV did not work but after some help with the WiFi we could get Neflix etc. Bed was clean and comfy, the shower nice and powerful, bathroom a little on the small side. There was a kitchenette however which was great, with kettle and microwave oven, could be useful if staying...

"This is definitely a basic room, it has the essentials for a traveller who just needs a room. No frills. The room was clean and the staff for booking in were great. The let down has to be old single glazed windows that don't shut. The decor needs updated. If this place had a bit of money spent it could be magic. That said, you get what you pay for and it was cheap and did what I wanted as a solo guy with a packed weekend. Would use again"

"Lady doing check in was lovely , super friendly and helpful . Couple of issues resolved quickly after a few laughs . TV positioning and size bizarre . Would recommend displaying WIFI login details in the rooms in future . Room needs a bin , not just a bathroom bin . Good close parking, big spacious room with a nice comfy sofa . Lots of potential in room , but in need of updating . "
