"Great hotel and definitely does not seem like a usual 2 star. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Clean rooms and serviced well. Have seen other comments about the area and would agree that it can be a bit intimidating late at night but it was manageable and we did not experience any problems. Travelled with my teenage daughter. Reception staff were extremely helpful!! Would stay here again."

"It is a new facility, everything is clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Need to note two things - first is that the area is very noisy at night and street sounds are load, which means earplugs if you don't want it to bother you. Second - the double bed is 140x190 cm in size, good if you're average size, but can be an issue for the big & tall. "

"I’m not sure why I’ve seen so many bad reviews for this place. It was in a fantastic location, staff are kind and helpful. Yes the rooms are small. It’s an older historic building, and that’s what you should expect in this type of building. We knew there wasn’t an elevator, we were just hoping we weren’t on the top floor! We were on the 3rd floor, so definitely got a workout a few times a day, along with the many hills and stairs of Lisbon. If that kind of thing bothers you, or you have mobility...
