"Affordable rooms if you are passing through. Easy to walk to the lake and vendors, nice view to the volcanos. Breakfast is so delicious! 😋
The staff were so kind and they let me ckeck in earlier then expected after a long trip. I think they can improve the amenities. There should be a couch in the room instead of chairs and some extra blankets for cold weathers."
"Rooms are bare and not the cleanest. Hair on the floor and behind the beds. Shower was cold. Door frames are not flush with the door and potentially open to all kind of critters entering the room. We used a towel overnight to try and close the gap. We did not partake in the included breakfast after reading some reviews. No English spoken here but we managed with Google translate. Hotel is under construction and very loud early in the mornings. Gates are locked overnight so we didn't feel unsafe....

Avoid this terrible hotel—it deserves less than one star because of filthy conditions, deceptive ads, and dangerous safety hazards. The online pictures are completely misleading, hiding the fact that the rooms, showers, and public laundry areas are absolutely disgusting. The room itself had filthy mattresses, dirty sheets, and a "Mickey Mouse" water heater with dangerous wires hanging...

I made this booking knowing it was a gamble and ended up getting lucky enough to find someone on the property when I arrived at night. If they haven't been home then I would have been stranded in the jungle late at night without a way to get to town."
"Our stay at Hotel Taa' Tiin was lovely. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable. The hosts were warm and friendly, and the delicious breakfast each morning was a treat. The location is ideal—just a short, easy walk to San Juan's beautiful, colorful umbrella and coffee streets. We also tried the traditional Temazcal on the property, which was an exceptionally relaxing and refreshing experience."

"Room was nice with huge ceiling. Great views of the lake and I enjoyed the hot tub. They had a lot to offer such as hammocks, bikes, paddle boards, pool, hot tub, and sauna. It would be nice to have hangers for clothes in the closet and the sheets had visible stains which they should throw out."
