"Booked for 3 people for 2 nights begining of August 2025. Check-in was easy and fast. Front desk staff were very kind and friendly. Room was very clean, with a little kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. No ustensils, it was mentioned in our booking no kitchen amenities, bring your own. Double bed was ok, hot water and water pressure was perfect. Within walk-in distance to Parliament Hill, around 15 mins walk. Close to mall , not too many options of restaurants close to the location but there's a lot within 5 to 10 mins walk. Parking CAD$17.50 per day, can come and go whenever you want. This is not a 5 stars hotel but very good for the price. I would definitely stay there if I'm in Ottawa again."

"The hostel is very clean and feels safe. Staff are friendly. Nice continental breakfast to get you started on your day. There are wall plaques with explanations of some of the jail’s unique features. One of these features is the “drum ceilings” which provided enhanced acoustics. The drawback for the hostel guests is that late party coming in at 3:00 AM cannot do so quietly. You can ask the front desk for ear plugs to get a better night’s sleep."
