"The staff is very nice and accommodating, that is definitely the most standout aspect of this motel. The weakest point is the condition of the linens/sheets/towels. There are many stains on the linens which is very off-putting as guests can't know what those stains are from, and these come into direct contact with the body and can't be avoided. "Our stay felt like an urban "Survival" episode. Check in felt like a major inconvenience to the woman at the front desk. Her helper escorted us to the room, we almost gagged at the smoke smell emanating from the room upon opening the door. The smoke detector was beeping and the gentleman went to get a new battery which he could not figure out how to instal so he left the detector on the dresser and said we'd be OK. The TV wasn't working and it was determined that there was a missing power cord...
