"I had stayed here before and was very happy with the level of security and help I received from the front desk. The location is great because you are just blocks away from all the main sites of the historic downtown and one block from a subway station."

It was getting hot so it wasn’t ideal that they didn’t have AC (we did see them install new ACs in some rooms when we were checking out so check with them). Good thing is that the place is quiet and not full when we were there so we were able to open our door when we’re up to let the cool air in. Beds are very firm. I’d stay here again tho if just for the location."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful; If you need a taxi, reception gets you one in no time. The location of this hotel is great. You can walk to the center and there a lot to see with in 15 min walk. The hotel it self is fair 3 star hotel with clean rooms and basic services. Room is an OK size with no amenities like coffee machine or water boiler, only two bottles of water. But, I have one thing to suggest when you check in. Make sure you request for a quiet room away from the noise because...

"The hotel is well ubicated, 10 minutes walking from Reforma. Unfortunately they do not know how to treat clients, they had bad attention at lobby. Also the whole hotel needs maintenance, there is a lack of cleaning in the rooms. You can smell the humidity ambient and the beds have a lot of springs and are dirty. They also offer breakfast included and did not give it to you. In resume is the WORST HOTEL IN TOWN."

"The room was large and the bed was big good value for money. Location was quite close to the historical center, which was nice. Hot water was provided upon request only they should just provide a microwave in which you can heat water up or whatever other food"

"Small windows to open and NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was VERY hot and no air flow. The night was stifling and nearly wanted to checkout on our first night and go elsewhere. Paid a 200 peso ($12) deposit to borrow a fan. It helped but don’t sleep here if air conditioning is a necessity. "

This was definitely not the place to try and get any kind of sleep as they would play weird techno music (not the cool kind of techno) starting very early in the morning, during the week and on weekends. Some of the employees were rude, and they would not talk to you when you would greet them in the morning or at night. "This location is not what it seems from the pictures, there is no room cleaning service, doors don't have a lock, one of the showers only had hot water that couldn't be regulated, no body wash available, only one power outlet in the entire room. "

"The language difference and the ability for some staff to respond quick to you is an issue. But it’s a great hostel and would love to come back there. "
