"Pros- 1- Helpful and friendly staff, 2-Clean hotel, 3- fantastic complimentary breakfast, 4- easy commute to downtown Galena, stores, restaurants and attractions. 5- Easy parking Cons- 1- We were unaware they only clean the room after a 3 night stay. We stayed 5 days & 4 nights without any housekeeping. I am not sure, if this location is understaffed or unorganized that rooms are not being cleaned. It’s not hygienic. 2- Pool is not heated and the hot tub was not hot."

"This is a great place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the area. The complimentary breakfast and cookies were fantastic. I loved the salt water pool /waterslide and hot tub. It’s convenient to have a water refilling station, bathrooms, arcade and fitness center near one another, We loved having a laundry room to wash & dry clothes."

"The pool area was really nice. We had a lot of fun. The rooms were ok. Just normal rooms. I liked the temperature on the wall. Bathroom could've been a little updated. And the breakfast was not very good. And it was HOT everywhere. I would go back for the pool area. But that's about it."

"Booked 3 rooms, 1 had bed bugs and she had to move in middle of the night. Staff was very accommodating and got her another room, & refunded her. We have heard this can happen in any hotel but overall the rooms were clean and comfortable."

"It was way overpriced for a motel with well water, that was old & rundown. The location was not great either."
