Nonetheless, we found two cockroaches in the room, our pillows were old and formless, the bathroom sink's handle came out of its hinges, the showerhead was defective and did not offer a comfortable spread of water and finally they had a scheduled construction right next to our room window and while having other rooms available, failed to inform us and give us a chance to move. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Our official check-in time was 3:00 PM, but one incredibly kind staff member (I truly wish I had gotten her name) went above and beyond by personally contacting the owner to allow us to check in early. That level of care and initiative made such a difference and immediately set the tone for our stay. While this was not a tourist-heavy area, it was exactly what we were hoping for. It gave our kids the opportunity to experience real life in San Juan, which made the trip even more meaningful. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly, welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again! recommend it!"
