"Spacious room but way too hot upon arrival. Opened windows to cool off & then contended with mosquitoes all night. Very little tp left & no “front desk” to ask. Overall, ok for a chain hotel room."

"A good value alternative near the train station. Clean room, comfortable bedding. Your window is likely to open over the restaurants that line the plaza so be ask for a higher floor if possible to minimize sound and cigarette smoke. WiFi was absolutely horrible. Dial-up type speed."

"The location is excellent. Within a 2 minute walking distance of a supermarket and half a dozen food establishments. With an Ibis budget you know what you are going to get. What I didn't expect was a skip outside, a lobby full of building materials and a staircase covered in building mess and smells. Oh, and the builders started hammering and sanding at 0800 on a Saturday morning. The room was as expected, no issues but an email to say that building work was going on would have given me the...

"The Hotel de Lac is set in a stunning location overlooking a lake. The rooms are fine in line with its 2 star rating and the owner and staff were very personable and helpful. We had a meal in the dining room overlooking the lake and it was of a high standard. The local town of Colberg is very historic and it is overlooked by a n ancient castle. In summary highly recommended."
