"Good Wi-Fi, clean room but very small, and bathroom and toilet shared with other guests in the hotel, not appropriate, no TV in the room, could get better accommodation for same price. 1st night was disturbed and couldn’t get back to sleep- very noisy and the guy at the reception had an altercation with someone and was shouting, disturbing guests’ sleep which was appalling. Staff were very unfriendly, no smile at all. They should learn to be welcoming to guests!"

"Albergo davvero carino e personale cortese e disponibile, ma la stanza puzzava di fumo. Non siamo riusciti ad accendere l'idromassaggio, sarebbe opportuno mettere delle istruzioni. Tutto sommato un buon soggiorno, odore di fumo a parte. Buona e varia anche la colazione. "

"Amerigo and his family were so extremely welcoming to me, and made me feel at home. Amerigo even picked me up when I was lost finding the hotel, and drove me to the ferry when I left. They made me feel very safe and welcome as a solo female traveler. The sea balcony was beautiful, and you can have your breakfast on the water. Walkable to the town centre, with a beach on the way. I will definitely return when I get a chance to come back to Forio. "

"Ottimo hotel"

"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "
