"Convenient to the train station and relatively close to the bus station. We could not connect to the wifi and there was no coffee/tea in the room, but the room was clean. A good option if you’re on a tight budget."
"We had a room with a funky door. Both windows were out of the norm, but fun.
Our fan wouldn't work for the shower, but I informed the staff and I'm sure they'll see to fixing it.
All in all, the hotel was a nice stay. Be forewarned, the rooms are upstairs. (I never saw any downstairs. That's where the restaurant is.)"
"Great location and friendly checkin. Place is bigger than you think and we went upstairs and down some hallways and doors to our room. The room was perfect with a little seating area to watch things go by with a view of the bay. Dinner was delicious with a good selection (book early) and breakfast was cooked to your request. The full Irish breakfast was excellent!
All in all a great hotel and restaurant with a bar and ideally placed. Loved it."
"We liked everything - it was warm, friendly and thw staff went out of their way to offer information and assistance to make our stay unforgettable - we will definitely return in the future…
Breakfast was amazing!"
"Pas de table ou de possibilité de poser des affaires dans la chambre sauf à même le sol. Juste une pauvre armoire. Idem dans la salle de bain. On pose ses affaires à même le sol. Draps et serviettes tout juste propres. Le reste de l’équipement, lit, douche, WC est récent et fonctionnel. Mais parmi les moins cher de la ville et plutôt calme."
"Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window."
"Une belle auberge de jeunesse gérée par la communauté! Du personnel à l’écoute, dans un lieu où nous avons l’impression de faire partie de la communauté."
"Checked into room July 30th in the two singles with window. Immediately upon entering the room saw a spider about the size of a loonie or toonie crawl under the one bed. Had to pull out this bed to get it only to find they haven’t vacuumed under the bed in about 5 years. There was multiple other smaller spiders and bugs in the room on the bedding and walls.
Talked to reception and they mentioned they’d give our money back for the issues. 2 weeks later there was nothing still so Expedia reached...
"Great location for dining, shopping, entertainment and bus station. The room was comfortable enough but needed a good clean. Mould in the bathroom, dirty carpets that hadn't seen a vacuum for a long while (there was visible rubbish and bits and pieces on the floor). Very expensive for what was a low budget experience. "
"The staff was amazing! Friendly and helpful. We had exceptional breakfasts as part of our stay and enjoyed two dinners there, as well! Fabulous food!"
"Only problem we had, they texted us the pass code to access our unit and we didn't have cell service. Luckily we were able to contact someone one, they were close by and let us in. It was convenient to the Cliffs of Moher and other sites."
