"Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again."

Man fühlt sich wie daheim und es ist alles sauber gewesen. Es wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Man teilt sich die Küche bzw das ganze Haus mit Shelley und ihrem süßen Hund. Parken ging ohne Probleme vor der Tür. Das Community Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen: Müsli, Scones, frische Croissants, Obst, … Im Bad bräuchte es...

Stile or Cattle Grid? This was photographed on the eastern side of Praze-an-Beeble where a footpath meets a byway. I don't know whether you would call this a stile or a cattle grid, either way it performs the same function, it keeps large farm animals in the field while letting people through. The metal pole across the top is a more recent addition and probably serves to bar the way to two wheeled vehicles. Not a stile but a cattle grid; stiles are for going up and then down
