"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. "Superb apartment, situated on the Barbican which is in the middle of the action. The apartment has been renovated recently and is beautifully done. The only minor downside is it could do with a fan to keep cool at night. All in all it was perfect."
