"I would not recommend staying at Hotel Holloway Birmingham. I travelled from London to Birmingham to attend a close friend’s wedding and expected a comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and the condition of the room was far below what should be expected from any hotel. "I travel often to Wolverhampton and had heard that the Hotel was not good; anyway, I decided to give it a go. The bedroom by itself is not bad; the building is not new, and it is outdated ( corridors, stairs, carpet, paint). Not offering breakfast does not give any extra points, but I saw advertised in the Hotel that they will have breakfast soon, and the bar by the entry is fully refurbished and looks good. But when you come in, the hotel smells old. What really upset me was the bathroom. When...

"Struggled to find it at first but it was a lovely room, enjoyed being able to use the TV. Had 2 fans which was needed. When arrived back at the hotel late at night there was no room in the car park but a member of staff moved their car for us to be able to park. Only downside which staff cannot control it is very loud, right next to pubs. Banging all night and fire alarm randomly went off at 1am which gave us a bit of a fright."

"Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again"
