"This is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. I slept better in this property than any of the 4-4 star hotels over the past 10 days! Very basic amenities. A wonderful stay for a fair price!"

"Freundliches Personal, unkompliziertes Check-In / Out. Schönes Zimmer, gepflegtes, neuwertiges Bad, ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet"

"Easy self check in. Modern and clean"

"What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"

"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel.

"Awful, Loud, Roasting, central"

"Very magical place! Clean, wonderful location, pretty terrace, beautiful breakfast room, and the most amazing and helpful staff! Would highly recommend!!"

"Lovely family run hotel. Close to train station and a short walk to town and lakeside. The booking site hadn't relayed our request for twin beds but this was addressed for us immediately on arrival. Very nice breakfast. We ate in the on site restaurant one evening, which was also good."

"The wi-fi information listed on the back of the door was wrong. I was there for just about 2 weeks and they did not stock the apartment properly for the length of my stay. The glass light fixture had food slime on it, the shower ceiling had black mold I was given 1 of each; dish cloth, washing cloth, dishwashing tab, wine glass. I had to ask for mugs. The flatware was scratched,"

"Duachvorhang hatte Schimmel. Ansonsten war es sauber."
