"This is a terrific, versatile, and historical place. I stayed in one of the original buildings, with wood floors and thin walls. The room was looking out over the front of the property and the street beyond. The room was understandably small, seeing the origins, and the price was pleasantly suitable to the size despite the sense of history in it and the areas of the business immediately around it. "There was blood on my bedsheet. So gross. The manager tried to give me some money back but because it was booked thru Expedia they couldn't. She gave me a snack bag and a late check out (which I only got because of the blood on the sheet- I asked before I noticed it and was denied) for my trouble. Assistant manager likes to say no to customers asking for things. On the bright side, the breakfast wasn't terrible."

"This hotel has a really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, location is quiet at night (even if close to the highway), convenient, lots of parking, and the breakfast has something for everyone. We travel to Auburn for work very often, and this hotel is a great choice. My only feedback: if you want housekeeping services, you have to request by 8am. "The hotel is fairly new, great looking friendly and breakfast was nicely serviced. The rooms could be cleaner, I had 2 rooms and the whole time there was a funny smell, and spots on the floor by the barn door, shower door had spots to as if not cleaned properly. Otherwise it’s a great stay!"
