"Pool filter didn't work. The pool was gross! Filled with bugs, debris and swirling sunscreen and dead skin cells. This was addressed with the manager and she said she couldn't do anything but tell the aquatics department. The "Aquatics" department was a joke. It was a girl who didn't care about her job and was in no hurry to do anything productive. The way they addressed my concerns were walking around the pool with a net. I own a pool so I know how to run a filter pump system and the system...

"Room was ok. Had a tad bit of an Oder. The bathroom section seemed to be redone which was nice. Room it’s self a little outdated and didn’t feel the most clean. The bed and bedding was nice. Pretty comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, had a hot tub and slides for the kids attached. Great it was so close to cedar point and the breakfast was great! Everything was clean/ fresh/ nice and tasty. They even have a pretty cool pancake maker which was awesome....

"Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!"

"Place smelled right when you walk through the front door and all the furniture in the lobby is filthy. Had to wait approximately 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. Get to the room and it was damp and smelled like urine. Air freshener did nothing to improve or dissipate that smell. All the lamps and fixtures in the bathroom are rusty. Pulled out an end table to find an outlet (since the one on the rust lamp didn't work) and it was obvious they never move anything while "cleaning". None...
