"The apartment was beautiful, clean, warm with comfortable beds. Great location and parking an added bonus. A lovely stay. "

"Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though."

"Chris & Victoria were very welcoming and friendly. Gave us suggestions of where to dine and trips to take. B&B was well maintained, room had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, fresh, local produce, plenty of tea, coffee etc. nothing was too much trouble for them Would definitely stay again"

"This is a lovely cottage and the location is great. We had a fantastic stay in Windermere. However, be aware that the street parking is only for an hour and so a paid carpark is needed, not free parking as advertised. I messaged Sykes Cottages about this issue twice and received no response so communication was unfortunately a problem. The cottage was also in the process of being cleaned when we arrived, despite this being after the check-in time."

"Perfect quiet location not too far from shops and bars. A short journey to Bowness-On-Windermere about 5 minutes by car but very much walkable. The space in the accommodation was huge absolute perfection"
