"This was a beautifully authentic Japanese house in a beautiful setting. The owner is the architect and he did an amazing job with design and upkeep. When he found out we were arriving by train, he picked us up at train station and dropped off on our way out and helped us with our tickets to Tokyo. We loved our stay!!!!"

"Staying at Fugen-in Temple in Koyasan was an incredible experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, the staff are welcoming and kind, and everything was beautifully taken care of. The room are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The temple is located right in the heart of Koyasan, which made it very easy to walk everywhere and explore this magical place. Koyasan itself is truly unforgettable, and staying here made the visit even more special. I am very happy I chose Fugen-in Temple and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting.
