"I picked this hotel on a trip to visit Dickinson College with my teen and it was so much less expensive than the hotels in Carlisle proper. We were coming in late - after 8 p.m. - and I had to call ahead of time to get my room number and access to the key. The person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. We found our way there on one of Pennsylvania's many winding little roads (that led right into Carlisle, about 10 minutes away). There were lovely snacks in the room that were devoured immediately by kid, and bottled water, a very thoughtful touch, especially since there isn't too much in the immediate area, although there is a dollar store nearby. The room was cute and clean, the TV was a Roku so we could log in and watch our own stuff, the wifi was free and worked perfectly, and the beds and bedding were soft, clean and comfortable. If you want a generic hotel room from a giant corporation, it's not for you. If you like supporting a local business and are looking for a comfy and cute place to spend the night near Carlisle, it's perfect. "
