"I'm sorry that I ever booked this hotel and may never stay at another Holiday Inn Express. The hotel has an inadequate number of parking spaces for guests unless you use a nearby parking garage that is rather inconvenient. The decor is very outdated and really should be updated. The hallways are humid and have a odd smell. Our television had sound but no picture on a Thursday and Friday. The staff said it could only be fixed by the local cable company following a storm the prior Monday evening....

"Place was nice enough. I was there 4 nights and house keeping never came. The ice machine was down and the fridge was unplugged so the small about of food I did try to store was ruined. Otherwise the tv worked and the bed was sleepable. I’d probably spend a few bucks more for a nicer place if I was spending any real time in the room but for just sleeping in it was fine. I called the front desk my 2nd to last night for new bedding and towels and the asked me to come pick them up at the front desk...

"Hotel was clean and very conveniently located."

"Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.Very clean"

"Our room was quite clean. There was very little noise. The breakfast was nice. If you left hungry, it was your fault. We had no problem at all with the accommodations."

"I stayed at this property for four days, and unfortunately, the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that smelled strongly of cigarettes, despite the property being advertised as smoke-free. The bathtub was in terrible condition and broken, and the toilet was also damaged. Since I was traveling with my children, I requested a different room due to the cigarette smell. Although staff initially indicated that they would provide another room, they...

"Great stay!"

"I really like and can recommend."

"We had the sweetest welcome by Tyeshia!!! Room was clean. Safe neighborhood."

"First, there are 3 staff members who are incredible. The woman who checked us in on 10/23/26, woman who moved us rooms on 10/24 & the man who checked us out on 10/25 were awesome. The man who worked overnight 10/23-10/24 was not. I came to him around midnight as the family in the room joining ours had a baby screaming at the top of their lungs since about 9:30pm. I asked to be moved to another room. When I said I didn’t mind getting a room with only one bed for me & my daughter to share he just...

"I choose to stay at this hotel and this location. because it is clean, well-kept, and everything I need in a hotel. On this occasion, multiple members of my family also stayed here and really loved how nice, clean, and pleasant the hotel is. I will keep choosing this hotel when I come to Charleston."

"Ease of check in, helpful staff."

"Everything was great, except for parking at $14 a day."
