"Other than the tired, dated decor, this hotel was excellent. Our room was a 2 room suite with a nice size balcony with Mountain View. There are several pools and hot tubs, both inside and out, which was nice after hiking all day. On site restaurant served delicious food and had amazing views of cascades. Closest hotel to Yosemite."

"Then grounds were nicely kept. The rooms were older but clean. The only issue was the water pressure in the shower - pressure everywhere else was good. Reported it and they said they would look into it."

"Dallas did a great job with check in and also was quick to help us at approx 10 pm to disable a beeping carbonmonoxide detector going off with a battery going dead! "

"There were a couple of things that should be brought to management attention. First, there were huge cobwebs along side the bed at the ceiling. Second, after the first day (of a four day stay) the shower drain wasn't draining properly. Now you could ask why we didn't bring these things to management attention immediately. "Yes, vintage, so a bit of nostalgia - if you arrive after hours, the keys are in the door . . .so that also speaks to the safety and friendliness of the neighborhood. Don't mis coffee or your morning drink of choice at the cafe. A charming find."
