Find 2 Star Hotels in Makinoto Onsen from SAR 319

"I found it comfortable and well maintained, but a little old and could use some updating. But it’s a good value in a wonderful location!"

"Very friendly staff and every space is really clean !! Food is buffet style but pretty good. Worth it with price"

"Very nice Onsen :)"

"Very spacious room and private (shared) onsen."

"The stay was beautiful and the onsen in the back was a dream for the people out there that want something not so public. As a heads up this is kind of like a campground so you can hear others in their places and the walls of the cabin are a bit thin but didnt cause any problems or disruptions. Definitely a great stay to get away from the busy cities."

"This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It was very convinient to have a restaurant on site, the onsen was lovely, and there are many unique things to do in the surrounding areas. We will definitely return and stay for longer on our next visit!"

"Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Yunotsubo Kaido and 5 minutes to the train station and Aeon supermart. Unlike some osen town eg. Hakone, there is plenty of food option at night."

"The property well prepared. Condition and amenities are just a perfect for our vacation, especially wide and cool opened air hot spring tub. "

"주인 부부는 친절했고 객실은 깨끗했어요. 주인부부는 영어를 무척 잘해서 객실 이용설명이 아주 만족스러웠고 저녁으로 주는 도시락도 정말 맛있었어요. 개인 노천탕 작은곳이 물을 새로 받아 깨끗하거 사용하기 좋았으며 따뜻한물은 콸콸 잘 나왔습니다. 가격과 친절 음식 모두가 만족스러웠고 재방문 할것같습니다."

"If you are travelling to Yufuin, Hotel MODA is a must stay. This hotel is immaculate, with attentive staff. I definitely recommend adding the dinner at the hotel to your stay, it was one of the best meals that we had in Japan and the outdoor private Onsen was amazing!"

"The ryokan was amazing especially the onsen. The room was beautiful and the lady who ran the ryokan was so sweet and make a delicious breakfast. Next time I’m in yufuin, I’ll definitely stay here again "

"The Ryokan was so lovely and quiet. A true oasis. Accommodation really well appointed and the food was amazing. The little area with snacks, coffee, water etc was appreciated. The staff were so friendly with impeccable service. "

"Nice and friendly staff, great food and environment "

"A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good!
