"It's not the Ritz, but is clean, comfy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and it's quiet, being set back from the main A6. The hotel is being gradually refurbished and it does need it as the decor is very dated. You can tell that it was previously a Premier Inn. It was reasonably priced for one night. I didn’t frequent the attached pub so can't comment on food quality. "

"Hotel massive. Like a maze. Room was very standard and simple but clean. Had a back room so looking in the the yard and other rooms but didn’t want to pay £30 extra for sea view. Mainly for older generation as in our 30’s 40’s we were the youngest there. Breakfast was self service and very nice. All fresh. Tv very small could do with bigger. Right at the attractions and great location. "

"Acceptable standard but an empty building was opposite and asked about parking there aas my uncle is disabled. Sunday morning I found a PCN on my car. Quite disappointed "

"The stay was lovely. Staff were very helpful on arrival and it was very easy to check in. Only downside was I wish there was an option for a breakfast in the morning. However there was plenty of other options across the road."

"Nice place with a good view over Winckley Square. We just booked one night local to get out of the house as our son was having friends around for his 21st. As we left the 20 and 21yr olds behind, was quite surprised to be met by the unmistakable smell of weed in the living room of the flat. Not a massive problem to be fair, but the sickly smell does tend to linger. The flat is quite nicely fitted out in a faux art deco style. Little things let it down though - the sofa back was broken, so not...

"Buget hotel at a budget price .nothing special apart from the warm welcome.was somewhere to get head down .bed comfortable room just a tad small for a double bed .amputee so needed more room.did as on arival but disability rooms taken. For the money a fair price"

"Apartment room was good, needed a little more finesse & finishing but reasonable. There were some niggles such as rusty toilet roll holder, shower door that doesn't properly shut, no shelf in the shower room. The main issue however was the entrance & stairs which were very dirty. "
