"Hotel name is not visible from the street. Parking on site was appreciated. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was 'open' but the cook was not there. After a while they reached her by phone and she would be there in 15 minutes, and was told to take our orders and I paid for two 'specials'. After arrival, the cook/owner(?) came out and chatted with several locals and then brought her dog out to visit with a guests dog. Later she came out with a hairnet on making me optimistic. We...

"Room was clean and staff were helpful, had a family room with 2 double beds. But with having children and in a family room I would expect a child lock on the window. Also they was a screw sticking out through the wood of the room door frame latch plate.. apart from that the hotel was clean and staff were helpful."

"Lovely place to stay! We stayed for a night, perfect room for our family of 4 for our quick stopover. Breakfast was included too, which was a lovely selection of cereals and a fry up. Parking was easy. Tea/coffee in the room too. Great stopover we had, thank you."

"The location of the property is excellent. The possibility of restaurants and shops around the property is superb. The property needs better maintenance. It is a pity that being in such superb location the maintenance of the building is terrible. One big issue is that it did not have elevator and it has very steep stairs. If you have big luggage that is a big problem. Regards JCB"

"Comfortable stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfy mattress, nice communal/ coffee area. The only negative was that the bunk bed isn’t screwed into the wall so if the person on top rolled over, it would wobble and bang on the wall."
