"The hotel must have recently refurbished and it was very clean. But the little details were missing. No hand towel or bath mat. The wardrobe had not been put together properly the drawers didnt fit. The duvet didnt fit the bed! Think it might have been a superking which was very comfortable but the duvet didn't reach the edges when we were in it, may be a king size. Missed having fresh coffee at breakfast, was instant"

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"Generally great property but oddly there were only 2 of each bit of cutlery and crockery ( for 2 people for 2 days self catering) and only 1 cereal bowl so there was a need to take turns to eat breakfast.
