"The hotel staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfast could be better though. It just had limited options for breakfast. Food/drinks are available to purchase 24/7 at the lobby bar. I like how there is a taxi service associated with the hotel that is available to get you around town. "

"Excellent location for our day at Hatfield House. Only one drawback was that we had to enter our rooms via the fire escape which had 2 flights of metal stairs which was quite difficult in the rain carrying suitcases. Otherwise everything else was good. The staff were lovely and very professional."

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"The host was very attentive to my email and greeted me upon arrival and also made sure that if I needed anything he was available which was greatly appreciated"

The property listing said ‘pillow menu’. Hmm. The room I had looked nothing like the photos and upon arrival, I checked out the room, and bathroom, and decided to leave.
