"The staff was very polite and helpful, not having any laundry facilities was a bit of a problem but there is a laundromat 6 minutes down the road."

"Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone."

"In one word, that’s the reason why I love meeting people around the world."

"The room was clean. It was very spacious with two travelers with big suitcases. We had a little nice patio in the back and I had no problem with staff. The staff are there. They’re just in the back room if you need help and we got there at check-in time."

"It was an absolute gem to stay at. It’s the first time I have experienced Japanese hospitality and I was just blown away. From the dining room to the heated bath area everything was 5 star. I look forward to a return visit"

"Helpful staff, laundry on site was convenient"

"Close to Nijo castle, everything so clean and staff really care about us!"
