"When we arrived we were told they couldn't accommodate us as they had overbooked. Hotels.com are clearly taking bookings they can't fulfil. Clearly no due dilligence choosing instead to ruin our holiday instead."

"The hotel is under construction while they sell online rooms. We booked on 29th of May and till 5th July they did not even inform us regarding the fact that they will not provide accomondation. We reached the hotel after our reservation driving 1 hour from Rethymno town and they did not even apologize for not having an available room for our reservation."
