What a gem

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is situated in a perfect position for a number of reasons. 1. AMAZING views of the bay 2. You can choose to walk downhill to the beach or uphill to the village 3. Peaceful The staff were great - the front of house, the waiters, the housekeepers Restaruant is best in area

En perle

Nydelig sted som overrasket oss. Vi hadde lest vurderinger og gledet oss men vi forventer ikke at atmosværen skulle være så fin. Rommene er ikke av nyeste standar men de var koselige og alle rom i 2. etg med to balkonger og med utsikt til havet. Vi spiste mye på restauranten deres og mat og service var veldig god! Vi har allerede bestilt rom der til vår ferie neste år! 😃

Fantastisk beliggenhed med udsigt over bugten. Stille og fredeligt sted. Sødt og imødekommende personale. Lille gåtur til de små omkringliggende "byer". Få butikker men okay med restauranter.

Gdyby nie widok - okolica mało ciekawa. W apartamentach czysto, tylko mrówki to ocena byłaby wyższa. Do plaży dość daleko - droga stroma. Generalnie sympatycznie i miło.

Appart' hôtel accueillant, au calme.

De très beaux appartements, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Bien agencé, au frais malgré la chaleur environnante. Ménage fait tous les jours, avec soin. Un des meilleurs restaurants que nous avons connu durant les 12 jours passés en Crète.

En riktig pärla!

Detta lilla familjeägda hotell överträffade alla förväntningar; fin lägenhet med skön säng, underbar trädgård och fantastiskt utsikt över bukten från restaurangterrassen, som för övrigt har ett grönt tak av vinstockar. Maten är mycket god. Man har utgått fån lokala råvaror och moderniserat det kretensiska köket. Testa vinbaldssushi! Där finns även pool, lekplats och parkerig. Personalen är trevlig och stämningen familjär. Hotellet borde ha minst 3 stjärnor och med tanke på priset är detta verkligen en sann pärla! Emerald ligger ca 5 min körning från lilla badorten Almirida, ganska mkt skandinaver och tyskar, och några okey stränder.

Ausgezeichnetes Appartement-Hotel!

Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage im Emerald und es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Die Lage allein, mit Blick auf die Bucht und abseits vom Trubel, dann die gepflegten Grünanlagen, bei denen man glaubt, es ist seit zig-jahren so eingewachsen. Wirklich schön. Der Pool ist klein, aber gepflegt und hat auch ein kleines Kinderbecken. Man liegt dort erstaunlich ruhig und kann dort die letzten Sonnenstrahlen erhaschen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnungen ist einfach, aber liebevoll, sauber und gepflegt. Es in der Küche alles notwendige vorhanden (Ofen, Herdplatte, Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Wasserkocher etc.). Die Wohnungen sind enorm geräumig. Und es ist natürlich traumhaft, zwei Balkone zu haben. Auch diese sehr romantisch eingewachsen und es war wie im Himmel dort seinen griechischen Kaffee zu trinken oder die Abendstimmung zu genießen. Das Bad ist klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Betten sind nach griechischer Art etwas ausgelegen, störte unseren absolut positiven Gesamteindruck aber nicht im geringsten. Wir wollten eigentlich beim nächsten Mal in den Osten Kretas... aber bei dieser Unterkunft werden wir wohl hängen bleiben. PS: Unbedingt das Restaurant "Elpis" weiter oben in Plaka ausprobieren! Ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg bergauf.
