"We booked the hotel for seven nights. Upon arrival will the manager took us to the room that he assigned to us that was not in the building where we checked in but an outhouse. The house looked tumble down and he walked us up about 50 winding narrow stairs to what looked like an attic or a crows nest. The room had two single beds and had only room for the beds and had a small window in between with a ram shackle, drape and no air-conditioning. It was horrendous! The breakfasts certainly set you up for the day, they were well presented and freshly cooked and came to the table hot, which was bonus. For anyone going to Oxford, we would highly recommend a stay at the River Hotel and very reasonably priced. Thanks for comfortable stay."
