"Central no fuss property. Easy check in and check out, held bags until could check in. Bed comfy, bathroom clean. Rooms are dated and could do with a paint and refurbish. Not worth the money per night but average for Oxford central. Served the purpose for one night stay "

"Booked this hotel last minute as a stop over on the way to London and glad we did. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy as well as being well decorated and comfy. Quaint little bar and restaurant is attached, we didn't eat but did enjoy a drink in the courtyard style patio. We were given a ground floor room (named wisteria) that was a great size with a huge bathroom, the room had a smart TV and some very welcome air-conditioning during a heatwave. "What a find. I will be back. I loved this pub and rooms. Beautifully presented and decorated. Food for dinner and breakfast was great. I loved all the candles and furnishings and the fire lit on a slightly chilly morning at breakfast was lovely. I’d definitely recommend the bell inn. Parking is on the streets near by so as long as mindful of residents it really isn’t an issue. It a very quiet village "
