"I stayed in a shared room with 20 beds but only like 5 other people actually there. It was pretty chill, great location and access to lots of restaurants and downtown Auckland right there. Lots of lockers including under my bottom bunk, just used my own lock and had no issues with it. Showers nice and hot, very clean space overall. Great big kitchen and the staff was awesome. Would stay here or another haka lodge again for sure!"

"False advertising. Rude staff. Beds with one small blanket in winter. Old building and freezing cold-no insulation. Bathroom tap didn't turn on. Booked for 3 nights, thinking it had a private bathroom as advertised. Upon check in found out no room had private bathroom. All shared. Refused to refund me any money. Even after showing them the advertisement online. Didn't stay and booked elsewhere. Only parking available is pay and display down the road that is more expensive than the room itself. "

"The property was right in the middle of the CBD, easy to access, easy to find, easy to move around. The most importantly was the room, very clean, the view to the CBD was perfect, OMW the bed was so clean and very comfy. I can stay all day and night long. So perfect to come home from the hard day at work, have a shower and get on the bed, Iwas able to relax, watch a bit of TV time and go to sleep straight away. Once booked, there were a number of steps to complete before checking in, so be forewarned that you will have to fill out some forms, provide ID, payment info, etc. etc. before you can check in and access the property.
